THANKFUL EASTER!

Well, it has been a blessed day. I took pause to think about the Savior, His life, love, unselfishness, example, &, most importantly, His sacrifice for each of us. I want to be more like Him. What do I do to show others that I love them? Do I live unselfishly, patiently, & offer a righteous example? If necessary, would I be willing to sacrifice everything for those I love? I believe each day is an opportunity to show love, patience, example. When we are doing & living according to the Savior's example, we are sacrificing a little of ourselves in order to become more like him. The time we take to listen to a child, the clothes we clean, the sick we care for, the visit we make, the lesson we teach, the pleasant smile we carry, the opportunity we take to lift another; each of these might be considered a bit of a sacrifice but all of these help us to become a little more like our Savior. I desire to do better &, therefore, become better each day.

TIME MARCHES ON!

Well, today was my birthday. I spent it with & talking to family. I loved hearing from all my kids, parents, brother, & uncle. Life has been good to me & I am truly blessed. I pray that this year will bring time with family, new opportunities to grow & learn life's lessons & success in the things that matter most. I pray that I may offer a joyful heart & gratitude to God for giving me so very much. There is still much for me to do before I leave this world & I pray to have wisdom & determination to complete my earthly assignment in a pleasing way. Let the work & new year begin!
